Frances' Aftermath
Amy and I spent this last weekend in Vero doing our best to resolve some of the frustrations brought about by Hurricane Frances. After getting some pretty bad weather in Gainesville from the storm, we had no idea what to expect back in our hometown on the east coast. We will not soon forget the damage we saw, and it will be a while till Vero has fully recovered from the blow dealt by Frances.
Dawn & Danny Nichols' Wedding
It was really exciting to get to be a part of my good friend Danny Nichols' wedding to his sweetheart Dawn Coleman. Amy and I had a great time hanging out with old friends, and making new ones in the wedding party. It was a refreshing weekend for Amy and I but getting to share "marital wisdom" made me feel like an old man at a mere 23 years of age. Best wishes for a happy marriage Dawn and Danny!
1st Anniversary Vacation
For our first anniversary, Amy and I stayed at a bed and breakfast (St. Augustin Inn) in St. Augustine. We had a great time in early celebration of our anniversary on July 19th!

2nd Lieutenant Jhon Henry
It was an honor and a privelege to see such a fine young soldier commissioned into the US Army...who am I trying to fool? I lived with Jhon for 3 years! From that fatefull day we ran into each other at orientation, through the year with the roommate whose name we dare not mention, through crazy pranks, fire-alarms, Unreal Tournament, more fire alarms, rollerblading in parking garages, life with Jered (sorry bro) :) I'm just glad we all made it out of college alive - well, we're still rooting for you Jered! Congrats Lieutanant! As you were! :)
Crawdaddy Fest
Since I started working at Acceleration, my supervisor has been talking about the yearly Crawdaddy Fest. So Amy and I couldn't pass it up.
Orange and Blue Game
By this time of year, most Gator fans are really starting to miss UF football games. Fortunately there's Orange & Blue - the yearly late Spring scrimmage game.
Weekend to Remember
We had planned on taking this weekend to just chill out in Gainesville after a long string of planned weekends with no rest. On top of that desire to just hang out for a weekend, we really were low on funds to go to a marriage conference, but when our church offered to pay our way, we couldn't pass it up. We are very glad we didn't. The things we learned that weekend have changed the way we look at our marriage, at communication, and at intimacy.
