Carowinds
Sunday was bring a friend day at Carowinds, which meant annual passholders could bring a friend to the park for free. Amy had to work on a presentation and a paper for school, so I went with Misael, Aidaris, Wes, Eyma and Francisco.
Iron Chef
Saturday, March 26th was the first USC Chemical Engineering version of Iron Chef! Although we earned a close 2nd place, we had a great time and would love to compete in this type of event again! Everybody brought their best to the table and it we all enjoyed the leftovers!
Lighting Upgrades
We've spent the last couple weekends making a few lighting updates around the house. We put up a new chandelier, 5 new exterior lights, and a some new bathroom lights.
Fresh Flowers
It's getting warmer here in Columbia and the flowers are just starting to bloom. Ames and I went for a walk and took our new camera with us to take pictures of some of the things we saw along the way.
Jered's Bachelor Party
On February 4th, 2006, my brother Jered got married to his longtime sweetheart Aimee Gouge. I wish I could post pictures of their wedding here, but I ran over our camera at the bachelor party. That's right, I ran it over. Shortly after the last picture in this album I dropped the camera through the seat of my go-kart and the back wheel of the cart crunched it. So I don't have pictures from the wedding, but it was at least as fun as the bachelor party...I think. :)
Snow Tubing
We drove all the way to Asheville, NC to find a trailer at the top of a hill where you could pay $20 to ride down on a tube for 3 hours. After throwing a few snowballs, we decided to go on to Wolf Laurel Ski Resort.
Thanksgiving & Christmas
Since we've been slacking on the picture taking for the last few months, the holidays were no exception. Here is a quick tour of our Thanksgiving, Christmas, and everything between.
Abby
Since we moved here we've slowly befriended a fluffy white cat named Abby. Why? Our reasons are stated below in photos.
SC State Fair
When Josh, Erica, and Silas came up in October, we decided to go to the South Carolina State Fair in downtown Columbia. We had a blast and it was fun to spend time with some of our Gainesville friends.
Charleston
One of the reasons Josh and Erica came up was to go to a wedding in Charleston. We rode down with them and had them drop us off in down town so we could do some sightseeing.
