Zahra's Baby Shower
July 3, 2009Our friends Zahra & Kaveh are expecting a baby girl soon, so Eirini planned a baby shower for them on May 9th, 2009. Amy & Eyma made cupcakes for the shower. These weren't just any cupcakes of course, they were spring-themed, cute bug covered, cupcake bouquets.
Alina/Kyle Visit
July 3, 2009In the beginning of April Alina and Kyle came up to visit. Before Kyle came up, Amy, Alina and I were rear-ended on our way to the BridgeRun (see previous photo set). We tried to make the best of the situation and still have a fun time.
Civic Wreck
July 3, 2009Alina drove up ahead of Kyle so that we could all go to the Cooper River Bridge Run in Charleston. On April 3rd, just as we were getting out of Columbia we got rear ended really bad. We stopped, the white van behind us stopped, but the black Mercedes behind the white van never hit the brakes. Alina hit her head pretty hard and we were all pretty shook up, but we're all OK now.

Erica's Birthday
July 3, 2009A 30th Birthday occured for a very special friend, so we made the trek to Gainesville to be at her surprise birthday party! I decided to make what she called an "Amy Cake" and Jason lovingly said it was my best one yet. We had a great time, got to see lots of old friends and go to our old church. It was refreshing and exhausting hanging out with all their little ones!!

Puerto Rico
July 3, 2009While we were in Florida for Christmas break, we took the opportunity to visit Puerto Rico for the first time. We got to see our friends Beba & John get married, eat lots of great local food and visit some amazing places.
Christmas in Vero
July 3, 2009For Christmas this year, Amy and I drove down to Vero to visit out families. It was great to see everyone, including Amy's cousin Breanna and her adorable 3 year old daughter Malaya.
Eyma's Graduation

Zoo Lights 2008
July 3, 2009Every year, the zoo here decorates for Christmas and extends their hours for an event called Lights Before Christmas. We went with Eyma, Wes and Tonita (Eyma's mom).
